Thanks to the support of our donors and community leaders, The Arc continues to be an agency that initiates and implements cutting edge services and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. As we continue to evolve as an agency that builds partnerships that will help people paint a picture of what they envision their lives to be, we thank our supporters, who are a part of that larger picture.
Helping people to live rich and vibrant lives is at the core of The Arc's philosophy and mission. The Arc supports people with disabilities to create lives that mirror yours and mine: students attending neighborhood schools, adults going to work and living in their own homes, and individuals enjoying the social and recreational opportunities of their communities. Our hope for the future of The Arc is to continue to explore and develop cutting edge services for the people we support; increase the pathways program so each individual we support has their own unique plan for a successful life in the community; plan future services that address the needs of the alarming explosion in the number of individuals being diagnosed with autism; and continue outreach and education about The Arc to the community.
