Meet the Artist: I’ve always liked drawing and painting and as I have gotten older, it’s been good for calming me down. Most of the time, I just draw the ideas I get from scrolling through Pinterest. I’ll see a style I like and do a painting based off of that. Or I see a picture and I play this “game” I call picture association where I will keep connecting things that remind me of that picture until I end on something I want to draw/paint.  

More About the Artwork: I was looking down in the basement and found a slab of wood. I had never painted on wood, so I decided to try it out. It took about two hours in total because I had to sketch it out first, which is the longest part for me personally.
