Mission Driven:
Kenda ensures that the people she supports get out in the community and live meaningful lives. Kenda takes the people she supports for long rides around the community, visits their favorite restaurants, delights in a trip to get snowballs, and assists them in playing games inside the home to keep entertained. She is mission driven and works with the people she supports on their goals daily. She is a great communicator and builds great relationship with her peers. Kenda has also taken the initiative to begin taking CEUs towards a DSP Certification and has already completed a few modules.

Advocacy:
Kenda advocates for the people she supports on a daily basis.  She takes those she supports to their regular doctor’s appointments, always ensuring they are being well taken care of and understand what is being said. If the doctor writes or says something she doesn’t understand she will ask question on behalf of the person.  She often offers healthier food options to encourage keeping their health and wellness at its best.
