Advocacy:
Reannon is the best advocate for the health of the people she supports. She always communicates with other team members if something feels off, as well as informs the medical team of the people she supports. There was a time when one of the people she supports had to go to the hospital. Reannon stayed at the hospital with them to ensure everything was taken care of and settled before she left. She was told she didn’t have to but didn’t have the heart to leave the side of the distraught parent. Reannon wanted to be there for her to support her in whatever way was needed. She truly is the best!
Leadership:
You can tell Reannon is a great leader when you walk into a Community Living home that she supervises. Her team respects her so much, they listen to her, and they know she will support them. There was a time at one of the homes that an employee was struggling with her peers. Reannon set up meetings to discuss, provided trainings to assist in the communication between them, let them voice their issues/concerns, and then developed a plan of action for the team to follow. The team followed the plan and it all worked out for the best.
